Innovation is at the heart of our corporate strategy

From Groupe Roullier to Phosphea

In 2015 took place the opening of the Groupe Roullier research center (Centre Mondial de l’Innovation – CMI) in Saint Malo. The center has centralized all the strengths and innovation, together with all those business functions essential to the innovation process at the heart of a partnership-based ecosystem involving more than a hundred universities and research centers.

This structure makes the CMI Roullier a unique facility and an effective accelerator of long-term growth for our business lines. As a Research & Development pillar for both Phosphea and the group, the CMI Roullier plays a key role in Phosphea’s continuous development of innovative solutions. Phosphea culture of innovation

The eye of Benjamin Ribeiro

  • What is your typical day?

My days are always different! I could be reading scientific literature, discussing with trial partners, writing new trial protocols, sending or receiving samples, analyzing trial results, preparing result presentation or answering to any technical question. There is no routine!

  • What are the qualities you need for your job?

Rigor, because you guarantee the technical compliance of the information you produce. You must also train and learn about the subjects studied, to be able to challenge the service providers and thus ensure that you have trials and results that meet your objectives. And last thing is that you have to like working in a team!

  • What is the best part about your job?

I really like the trial results analyses because it’s the moment you obtain the answer to your initial question: does this new product work as expected or not? It’s the conclusion to all the hard work done before!
